Lenovo P2 v/s Coolpad cool1
Lenovo P2: Lenovo P2 is a dual SIM device which supports 2G, 3G, and 4G networks.
Coolpad Cool1: Coolpad Cool1 is a dual SIM device which supports 2G, 3G, and 4G networks.
Verdict: Both are the same!
Lenovo P2: Lenovo Vibe P2 has the physical dimension of 153 x 76 x 8.3 mm and weighs 177 grams.
Coolpad Cool1: The Coolpad Cool1 has the physical size of 152 x 74.8 x 8.2 mm and weighs 167 grams.
Verdict: Clearly, P2 has a much bigger and heavier one here.
Lenovo P2: This 5.5 inch device has has a physical home button on the front panel. On the right edge is the Volume rockers and Power buttons and on the left edge in the SIM tray. On the lower edge is the USB port, speaker and primary mic. On the the upper edge is the 3.5 mm jack slot and secondary mic. On the rear side of the device is the primary camera and LED Flash.
Coolpad Cool1: This 5.5-inch device has a smooth front panel with no buttons whatsoever. Coolpad Cool1 has the SIM tray on the left edge and Volume Rockers and Power Button on the right edge. On the lower edge are the USB port, speakers, and primary mic. On the upper is the 3.5 mm jack. On the back side of the device is the dual camera, LED Flash and fingerprint sensor.
Verdict: In this regard both the devices are the same. When speaking of the physical aspect of the device, I always keep in mind that the speaker is not present on the back panel. However, now smartphones come with a speaker that is placed on the lower edge. That acts as a bigger plus point. So in this regard, you can go for either of the devices.
Lenovo P2: This phone has a 5.5-inch screen with Super AMOLED display and a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels (~401 PPI).
Coolpad Cool1: This phone has a 5.5-inch screen with IPS LCD and screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixel (~401 PPI) with EUI 5.6
Verdict: AMOLED display is much better to give you the ultimate viewing pleasure, but it also eats up a lot of battery. Do not decide until you have checked the battery capacity (below) of both the devices.
Lenovo P2: Lenovo Vibe P2 run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and has no news of getting a Nougat update anytime soon. It is an octa-core device with the cores running at 2 GHz. The chipset is Snapdragon 625 and Adreno 506 as GPU. It also has 4 GB RAM. However, there is a 3 GB RAM variant which is available for a lower price.
Coolpad Cool1: Coolpad Cool1 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. It has an octa-core processor with 4 cores running at 1.2 GHz and rest 4 running on 1.8 GHz. The chipset of the device is Snapdragon 652 and Adreno 510 GPU. It also has 4 GB RAM.
Verdict: Coolpad has a better chipset, but Vibe P2 has cores with higher speed. Take your pick.
Lenovo P2: Lenovo Vibe P2 has 32 GB of internal storage and a hybrid SIM slot that can be used to expand up to 128 GB of storage.
Coolpad Cool1: Cool1 has only 32 GB of storage on board only.
Verdict: Out of the 32 GB of storage, you will get roughly 27 GB for use. If that’s okay for you, then you can go for either of the two devices. However, if you want more storage, then your only option is Lenovo Vibe P2.
Lenovo P2: Lenovo P2 has 13 MP rear camera and a front camera of 5 MP. It can shoot videos at 1080p only.
Coolpad Cool1: Coolpad Cool1 has dual rear mounted camera of 13 MP each with dual LED Flash. The camera has phase detection auto focus and can shoot 4K videos. The front camera is 8 MP.
Verdict: If the camera is your primary concern, then go for Cool1. It can help you record 4K videos as well as fantastic shoot selfies.
Lenovo P2: Lenovo P2 is a dual SIM device, both supports 4G. Besides, it also has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/as, hotspot, Bluetooth, A-GPS, NFC, FM Radio, and microUSB.
Coolpad Cool1: Coolpad Cool1 is a dual SIM device, both supports 4G. Besides, it also has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/as, Wi-Fi Direct, Hotspot, Bluetooth, A-GPS, Infrared port, and USB Type-C reversible connector.
Verdict: Coolpad Cool1 does not have FM Radio and NFC. If you use either or both of these, you can go for Lenovo Vibe P2.
Lenovo P2: As mentioned earlier, Lenovo P2 has a fingerprint sensor on the front side of the device which is embedded in the Home Button. It also has an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass.
Coolpad Cool1: As mentioned earlier, Coolpad Cool1 has a fingerprint sensor on the back side of the device. It also has an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass.
Lenovo P2: Lenovo P2 comes with a large nonremovable battery of capacity 5100mAh. It is fast charging enabled.
Coolpad Cool1: Coolpad Cool1 comes with a heavy nonremovable battery of 4060 mAh capacity. It has Quick Charge 2.0 technology which promises to charge the device up to 50% in only 30 minutes.
Verdict: The more, the merrier!
Coolpad Cool1: This phone is available in India only via Amazon. Also, you are limited to Silver and Gold color of Coolpad Cool1 in India. If you don’t stay in India, the phone is also available in Rose Gold.
