  1. It depends on why you start a blog and what your intentions are for that blog. Like most bloggers they start a blog, not knowing anything but expecting everything.

    • Absolutely right, you got the point, Jacqueline. It’s all about the intent in blogging. And that could differ, at the same time the blogging platform too. Every blogging platform has their purposes, and one should be careful while opting in.

  5. This is a great post for those looking for a free platform. I personally love the benefits of a self-hosted site and all of my tutorials are based on a self-hosted WordPress site, but I realize that’s not for everyone.

    • Hey, Nikki, seen your blog it looks stunning. And yes, WordPress(self-hosted) offers many additional features to simplify the work. So, moving to WordPress makes sense. At the same time, free blogging platforms have immense potential, it’s all about what we could squeeze out of it…
      Thanks for stopping by.

  6. The weakest part about Blogger is its difficulty with leaving comments to non-Google members. It is not user friendly in this respect and the main reason why I moved to Word Press.

    • Yes, Patrick, every free thing might have few disadvantages too, as you mentioned above. But, if that is the only issue then, that could be sorted out by installing Disqus comment system or intense debate.
